Richard L. ‘Dick’ Siedschlag, age 65, of Juneau passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home in Juneau.Funeral services for Dick will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau with the Rev. Paul Schupmann officiating. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 5 from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Juneau with a luncheon to follow at the church.Dick was born the son of Elroy ‘Zeke’ and Lois (Steinhorst) Siedschlag on November 3, 1949 in Beaver Dam. He was a 1967 graduate of Waupun High School. On June 4, 1983, he was united in marriage to Roxanne Jahns in North Prairie. Dick worked at Silgan Containers for 31 years until retirement. In his spare time Dick loved aviation and was a part of the Dodge County EAA Chapter 897 and treasured the time spent with his friends from the Dodge County Airport. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Dick will be fondly remembered for his strong faith in his Lord and his positive attitude, which never wavered throughout the years he struggled with his health.Dick is survived by his wife of 32 years- Roxanne of Juneau. His daughter Emily Siedschlag of Watertown. His sisters in law- Diane (Clem) Koehler of Green Lake, Luanne Gifford of Oshkosh, and Suzanne (Wayne) Strasse of North Prairie. His brother in law- Bill (Chris) Jahns of Neshkoro. His sister- Sandy (Dick) Quirk of Fox Lake. He is also further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Dick was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Phil Gifford.
