Richard K. Cose, 84, of Beaver Dam, and former residence of Juneau, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Clearview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
A Memorial Gathering will take place Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.
Richard Cose was born on September 29, 1929, the son of Alton and Leah (nee Service) Cose in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Washington High School in Milwaukee. Richard was united in marriage with Donna G. Gust on July 28, 1951 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville, WI.
Richard was retired as an accountant from Metal Fabrication in Beaver Dam. He proudly served his country in the US Army, and was also a member of the Juneau American Legion Post #15.
Richard is survived by his children: Terry Cose of Milwaukee, Shelley (Dennis ‘Pancho’) Mallon of Beaver Dam, Jo Dee (Jeff) Haase of Beaver Dam, seven grandchildren: Erin (Mike) Schwabenlender, Patrick (Annie Vierig) Mallon, Timothy (Amanda) Cose, Emily (Mike) Janowski, Andrea (Joshua) Matson, Matthew (special friend Hannah Pearson) Haase and Katie Haase; two great grandchildren: Madalynn, and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen (Dennis) Brandt and sister-in-law Veronica Cose both of CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother Lorraine Sue Ricci, his loving wife Donna in 2001, his brother Roger Cose and his sister Virginia Zwieg.
