Richard R. Rost, 67 years old, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his home.A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 3rd, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest, Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Richard Reinhold Rost was born on November 5, 1948 to Vernon H. and Maxine J. (Schultz) Rost in Fond du Lac. He was a 1966 graduate of Mayville High School. Rick was united in marriage to Patricia E. Haller on July 12, 1969 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. Rick retired from TAB Products after 30 years as plant manager. After retiring from TAB, he was employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Beaver Dam.Rick enjoyed living on Beaver Dam Lake, where he had many friends. He loved fishing and enjoyed hunting in Mercer and the Park Falls area.Rick is survived by: his wife Pat of Beaver Dam, his son Aaron Rost of Beaver Dam, his sisters Kathleen (Bill) Wallace of Mayville and Laurie (Larry) Lawver of Park Falls, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rick is preceded in death by his parents Vernon & Maxine Rost.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
