Roger E. Dietzman, age 66, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Columbus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation for Roger will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday, beginning at 5:00 PM. Chaplain Thomas Moe of SouthernCare Hospice will officiate. Burial will be on Wednesday at the Reeseville Cemetery
Roger Earl Dietzman was born on December 19, 1941 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to the late Ervin and Nettie (Narveson) Dietzman. He served in the United States Army prior to the Vietnam War. Roger owned and operated Midstate Logging in Reeseville for many years. He enjoyed poultry farming and going to the flea market in Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Dietzman of Reeseville, five children, Donald Dietzman of Hartford, Venessa (Scott) Uttech of Beaver Dam, Cecilia (Joseph) Sornson of Waterloo, Jennifer Dietzman of Reeseville, and Ervin Dietzman of Reeseville, step children, Charles (Deb) Egli of Waterloo, and Thomas (Brenda) Egli of Sun Prairie, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Rossmore (Shirley) Dietzman of Jefferson and Homer Dietzman of Wisconsin, his sister, Arlene (Florian) Handel of Monroe, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother and two nephews.
