Ronald E. Heid, age 87, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at VA Hospital in Milwaukee.A private memorial service for Ron will be held.Ronald was born the son of Edmund C. and Evelyn M. (Prag) Heid on November 22, 1934. He was a graduate of Horicon High School. He served his country honorably in the US Army. Ron had retired from John Deere. He also worked for Kline’s department store in Watertown and was a janitor for the Watertown School District. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon.Ron is survived by longtime companion- Delores Raether of Watertown. Further survived by other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Charlotte Pagel, brother in law Buddy Pagel, sister Elizabeth Allard, and 2 nephes Jeffrey and David Allard.

Ron trained me with Louie at Schurz School in 1986, he loved his red Camaro at the time, he taught me the basics of hard work and maintaining a school inside and out. Ron was one cool guy.
