Ronald O. Obrero, age 62, of Mayville passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2018 at his residence in Mayville.A celebration of Ronald’s life will take place on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Christian Life Fellowship in Mayville with the Rev. Matt Lewandowski officiating. Visitation for Ronald will take place Monday, July 9 from 2-3 p.m. at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the Mayville American Legion Post #69.Ronald was born the son of Paul and Rosita (Orsolino) Obrero on February 22, 1956 in Samar, Phillipines. He was employed at Mayville Engineering Company where he was a welder and assembler for Harley Davidson. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed music and dancing, and liked motorcycles. He also enjoyed watching sports.He is survived by his son- Paul A. Obrero of Carlsbad, CA., his siblings- Hilda (Byron) Cornelius of Palm Springs, CA., Linda (Jim) Howard of Venice, FL., and Chee (Pat) Chamberlin of Mayville, WI. His brother in law- Steve Duncan of Concord, CA. His former wife- Patricia Fearing of San Diego, CA. He is further survived by special nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sister Flor Duncan.
