Ronald T. “Sleepy” Kuehl, age 75, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.
Visitation and services were private. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Ronald Truman Kuehl was born on January 19, 1937 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Lawrence and Blanche (Stehfest) Kuehl. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School, class of 1956 and, at the time, enjoyed waterskiing, boating and fishing. On March 12, 1971, Ron was united in marriage with Sherry Veling (nee Fischer). He worked in the sheet metal fabrication business as a cost estimator for many years. Ron enjoyed sports and he loved the Packers.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Kuehl of Neosho; his stepdaughter, Tracy Ramos of Beaver Dam; two step granddaughters, Callie and Marissa; two brothers and a sister, Charles (Diane) Kuehl, Mary (Alton) Asmus of Waupun, and Robert Kuehl of Menomonee Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steven and Richard Kuehl.
