Ruth E. Vierck

Ruth E. Vierck, 84, of Beaver Dam, WI and formerly of Harvard, IL passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Sylvan Crossings in Beaver Dam. Ruth was born the daughter of Henry and Agnes Harrison on May 12, 1934 in Woodstock, IL. She was married to Lyle G. Vierck on January 23, 1954 at the Greenwood Methodist Church in Greenwood, IL. Ruth was employed with banks in Harvard and Woodstock as well as helping on the family farm. She was a member of the Harvard Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling and loved to play cards. Ruth is survived by her sons: Craig (Donna) Vierck and Steven (Dawn) Vierck both of Juneau; her daughter-in-law, Lori (Norio) Miyazato of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren: Jeremy (Heather) Vierck, Nicole (Brett) Wiersma, Ben (girlfriend, Connie Stommel) Vierck, Henry (Katherine) Vierck, Brian (Ashley) Vierck, Christopher (fiancée, Brooke) Vierck and Kelly Vierck; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle in 2018; her son, Terry in 1994; and her brother, John Harrison. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. (noon). Interment will take place at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Harvard, IL.
