Sandra L. Weier, 70, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the UW Hospital in Madison surrounded by her loving family. A memorial gathering for Sandy will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30th at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam. A Celebration of Life for Sandy will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Celebrant John Leiting officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens. Sandra was born the daughter of Fred and Doris (Wood) Bender on October 11, 1947 in Beaver Dam. She was a graduate of Waupun High School. On January 13, 1965, she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Weier in Wisconsin Rapids. Sandy had been employed at Walmart for many years. She also managed Hogs and Frogs in Beaver Dam for 10 years. She enjoyed going gambling and she loved to collect frogs. Sandy was very proud of all her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. Sandy is survived by her daughter Gloria (Don Kruse) Weier-Linke of Beaver Dam and her son Kevin (Jenny) Weier of Beaver Dam; her granddaughters: Kayla Jean Linke, Makenzie Vlach, Tifany Dietz and Alyson Weier; her mother Doris Bender of Juneau; her sister Debra (Rick) Gempeler of Beaver Dam and her brother-in-law Doug Fishbaugher of Fox Lake. She is also survived by her kitties Nosy and Nacho and “her” dog Kasper. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Fred, husband Ken in 1996, her sister Suzie Fishbaugher in 2015. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
