Sarah Beth Luebke, age 57, of Iron Ridge died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from injuries sustained as a result of an accident at work.A funeral service for Sarah will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon with the Rev. Richard J. Boeck, Jr. officiating. A visitation will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon and again on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville with a luncheon to follow back at St. John’s in Horicon. A continued celebration of Sarah’s life will take place on Saturday, May 5 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Luebke family farm in Iron Ridge.Sarah was born on February 12, 1961 in Hustisford the daughter of Franklyn ‘Toddy’ and Hortense ‘Tenny’ (Pankow) Luebke. She was a 1979 graduate of Mayville High School. Sarah was employed for over 24 years at Advanced Disposal. Sarah was a longtime member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon where she was their organist for most of her life and was also on the altar guild. In her spare time Sarah loved being outside. She enjoyed gardening and taking walks in the woods. Sarah also loved animals and especially her puppy, Daisy. She is survived by her sister- Rachel (Robert) Simons of Stoughton. Her aunts- Marilyn Luebke of Iron Ridge and Susan Whelan of Madison. Her uncle – Melvin (Eleanore) Pankow of Iron Ridge. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents.Special thanks to Iron Ridge and Mayville EMS, the Flight For Life team, and the doctors and nurses at both Aurora Medical Center in Summit and Froedtert Hospital for their care and support shown to Sarah and her family.
