Sharon L. Morris, age 61, of Horicon, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 surrounded by her family at her daughter”s home in Horicon after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation for Sharon will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The casket will then be closed and taken to Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Mark Hasty will officiate. A luncheon will be held at church immediately follow the service. Entombment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The former Sharon Lee Turczyn was born on May 17, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Janice (Tuttle) Turczyn. She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee in 1967. On January 29, 1968, Sharon was united in marriage with Robert Donald Morris; together they owned and operated All Seasons Family Restaurant in Horicon from 1986 until Robert died in 1994. Sharon enjoyed many things including fishing, cooking, camping, reading, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon and found comfort in reading her Bible.

Survivors include her three daughters, Meredith (Dave) Buchholz of Waupun, Katie (Todd) Schmidt of Horicon, and Marion Bennett (Josh Knight) of Clyman; 9 grandchildren, Brittany & Brooke LaCrosse of Waupun, Samantha & Brady Buchholz of Waupun, Sarah, Tyler & Hayden Schmidt of Horicon, and Breana & Bryce Bennett of Clyman; special friends, Donna and Ed Thornton of Lewistown Montana; other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; her sister, Connie McGowan; and her brother, Dale Turczyn.

If desired, memorials may be made in Sharon Morris” name to Church Health Services, 308 Oneida Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916-2018.
