Sharron A. Deering, age 65, of Burnett, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at UW Hospital in Madison.
Private funeral services will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.
Sharron was born on June 26, 1946 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Raymond and Gladys (Geiger) Gadow. She attended school in Horicon and graduated from Horicon High School in 1964. On September 4, 1965, Sharron was united in marriage with Jon W. Deering in Horicon. Through the years, she worked at Green Valley Enterprise in Beaver Dam, Badger Woolen Mills in Hustisford, Mickelberry”s in Beaver Dam, and Walmart in Beaver Dam. Sharron loved the Packers and she enjoyed traveling, camping, going to rummage sales, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She was a member and past-president of the Horicon American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Jon Deering of Burnett; her daughter, Holly (Troy) Kolitz of Orange Park, FL, three grandchildren, Kayla, Schae, and Tra; a great granddaughter, Chasity; five brothers and sisters, Raymond (Lois) Gadow of Mayville, Gerald Gadow, Barbara Gadow of Rhinelander, Nadine Gadow of Burnett, and Bud (Diane) Gadow of Kaukauna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharron was preceded in death by her parents.
