She was a very inviting person and we would sit around her kitchen table talking and laughing about our daily events. I spent numerous weekends in Iron Ridge hanging out with my cousin Laura and Amy. Shirley was a loving and kind person. I will miss seeing her at the summer family reunions and I must say, she made the best poppy seed torte.
