Stephanie “Faye” Geschke, age 97, formerly of Oshkosh, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Christian Home in Waupun.

There will be a memorial gathering at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM.

The former Stephanie Olszewski was born on November 6, 1914 in Bellows Falls, VT to the late Alexander and Antoinette Olszewski. She was united in marriage with Soren Jensen; he preceded Faye in death. She was later united in marriage with Otto Geschke; he also preceded Faye in death. Faye volunteered as a Foster Grandparent for over 20 years at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol DeWeese of West Bend; a son, David (Laurie) Geschke of Waupun; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Faye was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen Van Strien.
