Teresa Anna Hoff, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Teresa was born in Cooperstown, North Dakota on September 9, 1925, to Max and Nora (Westerhausen) Strasser. On April 12, 1947 Teresa married Donald Hoff in LeRoy, Wisconsin.Preceded in death are Teresa’s loving husband Donald in 2001, sisters Helen and Clara, brothers Max and Eugene, and half sister and half brothers Agnes, Ray, Peter, and Harold Brown.Teresa was the wonderfully devoted mother of Michael (Louise), Judy Grimes, Patricia (Mike) Eckerstorfer, Cathy (Jeff) Stieve, Debra (Terry) Hoff, Betsy (Sam) Stuhr, Jayne (Mike) Feucht, and Jill (Jon) Mitchell. Treasured grandchildren are Mike, Leah, Carrie, Peter, Chris, Samantha, Marc, Geoff, Lauren, Elizabeth, Alex, Jack, Jesse and Lily, and six great-grandchildren. Mom was generous, funny, and beautiful. She will be greatly missed. We will also miss her excellent cooking, especially her chicken dumpling soup and chocolate chip cookies!A private family memorial service will be held to celebrate Teresa’s life.
