Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville with Fr. Tom Biersack presiding.

Visitation: A visitation will also be held on Monday, March 17 from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10 a.m. at the church.

Theresa A. Schmidt, age 100, of Mayville passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mayville.

Theresa was born the daughter of Peter and Anna (Ujvari) Sorgent on January 30, 1914 in Mayville. She was united in marriage to Harold Holtz on September 24th, 1932. Mr. Holtz passed away on May 10, 1963. She was later united in marria
