Dear Schmitt Family, We recently learned with great sadness of Thom''s passing. Jennifer and I are neighbors who knew Thom through his window cleaning business. We really enjoyed knowing him and felt an instant connection and considered him a friend. He had a warm heart, gentle soul and a smile that lit up our homes when he was here. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

Dear family of Thom, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Thom. It just seems so unbelievable. Thom was at our house washing windows last Wednesday afternoon. As the Military helicopter was hovering over my house, we were trying to figure out the timeline of President Obama''s visit. That was one of many conversations that we had over the last 3 years. He was always professional and easy to talk to. It was very comfortable having Thom work in our home. You and your family will be continue to be in our thoughts and prayers as you try to get through this very difficult time. I know we will miss seeing him. God bless, The Benusa family

I went to school with Thom he was a year older than me and I remember him, mostly because of football. He was always smiling and playing his heart out for his team. I am so sorry for your loss.

I would like you to know how Tom touched so many people. He was a delightful young man with whom I enjoyed seeing every year when he cleaned our windows. He was a very generous, hard working man that left an impression on everyone that he met. Many of my friends hired Tom and his crew to work at their homes every year. He wasn''t a vendor that we hired once a year, he was a friend to all that he met. I have known Tom for many years and will miss him. You are in my thoughts.
Mark Werner left a message on November 11, 2009:
We hired and re-hired Thom in the early days of his All-Clean Windows business. He was first-class all the way, from first impression through the completion of his work. This was a hard worker who showed up on time, did the job thoroughly, and charged a fair price. He was a true gentleman. On this Veteran''s Day evening, our hearts are heavy at his passing. We salute Thom for his service and for the fine man that he was! His family should be very proud of him, and should know that you will see him again.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
