Quilting in heaven - beautiful material, intricate patterns, very fine stitches - all done with skill, praise, and joy. Vera is there.

My dearest friend, my conspirator, my sister -- Vera and I did everything together, from the time we were little girls, continuing after our marriages, and after our dear husbands died. The last 11 years we became even closer when we both were widows, and especially enjoyed our friends at St. Paul's. So many laugh, so many good times, and some tears. Vera was a 'second' mom to my children and they all loved her deeply. I can't even imagine how much I am going to miss her! Love you Sis!

My deepest condolences to Vera's family. I'm really glad the "Milwaukee bunch" came down to visit in Manhattan so I got to play some cards and listen to some of Vera's stories. Betty and Barb, I wish there was something I could do to ease your suffering, I send you my love and a big hug.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I got to know Vera after joining the quilters at church. We would hear the elevator come down and someone would say the girls are here, meaning Vera and Betty had arrived. We had a lot of laughs and good stories. She was such a friendly, lovely lady and I will miss her. My heartfelt sympathy to the family.
