Vincent P. Carlson, 61 years old, of Horicon, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corner, with Rev. Richard Boeck officiating. A visitation for Vincent will be held on Monday, December 22nd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and also Tuesday, December 23rd from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Mayville.Vincent Price Carlson was born on July 30, 1953 to Herbert and Alyce (Schepp) Carlson in Beaver Dam, WI. He was a 1971 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Vincent was married to Nancy J. Giese on September 20, 1986 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corner. He was employed by and retired from M.E.C. of Mayville.Vincent was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Browns Corner. He was a member of the N.R.A., the Horicon Gun Club, and the Mayville Gun Club. He was an active fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee Herma Heart Center in memory of his son Ryan. Vincent is survived by: his wife Nancy of Mayville, his sister Audrey (Frank) Gerth of Beaver Dam, his brothers Dennis (Pam) Carlson of Arlington Heights, IL and Keith (Suzzana) Carlson of WA, his mother-in-law Deanna Giese of Mayville, his brothers-in-law Jeffrey (Cindy) Giese of Mayville and Randy Giese of Mayville, his sister-in-law Bonnie (Bruce) Pribbernow of Marshfield, a close family friend Ingrid Justman of Mayville, his dog Bruno, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Vincent is preceded in death by: his parents, his son Ryan in 2005, his father-in-law Ronald “Corky” Giese, and his nephew Dustin.
