Virginia M. Teeter, age 74, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at her daughter”s home in Beaver Dam.
Visitation for Virginia will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday at church, beginning at 1:00 PM. Fr. Michael Petrie will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peter”s Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
The former Virginia Mae Anderson was born on February 15, 1934 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Ezra and Caroline (Braker) Anderson. On March 12, 1955, she was united in marriage with Douglas L. Teeter in Beaver Dam. He preceded Virginia in death on October 28, 1985. Virginia worked at Weyenberg Shoe Company in Beaver Dam for many years. Her family was a very important part of her life and she enjoyed the times when they were together. Virginia enjoyed ceramics, playing bingo and the occasional trips to the gambling casinos.. She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam.
Survivors include her daughter, Carrie (Darwin) Young of Beaver Dam, her grandchildren, Felecia Young, Dakota Young and Lucas Teeter, all of Beaver Dam, her daughter-in-law, Rhonda Teeter of Beaver Dam, six brothers and sisters, Richard Anderson, Rodney (Bev) Anderson, Dorothy “Babe” Gunderson, Ruth (Jim) Graff, Bonnie (Ray) Murray and Connie (Bill) Veling, all of Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Scott, and seven brothers and sisters, Roland Anderson, Donald Anderson, Robert Anderson, Wilbert “Topper” Anderson, Kenneth Anderson, Carol Anderson, and Darlene Luedtke.
