Wayne “Slim” Straseske, age 66, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Columbus Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Visitation for “Slim” will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Monday, beginning at 5:00 PM. Fr. Rick Wendell will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Wayne James Straseske was born on September 14, 1943 in Columbus, Wisconsin to the late Mike and Marie (Lau) Straseske. “Slim” owned and operated Sugar Shaak Bar in Reeseville and Slim”s Place in Beaver Dam for several years. He loved to be outside and enjoyed his flowers, his garden, bird-watching, and drinking a Rollin Rock and grilling out.

Survivors include his two sons, Brad Straseske and Doug Straseske (fiancAC.e, Brenda Hunter), all of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Breanna, Wyatt, and Jillian; Gage and Mitchell Hunter; two brothers, Jerry Straseske of Lowell and David (Karen) Straseske of Minnesota Junction; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Karen Straseske.
