William Bill Keel, 91, of Beaver Dam passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Tuesday, May 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam. A Masonic service will be held at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. A memorial service will follow on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem officiating. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
William Eli was born to William Frederick and Elsie (Ladwig) Keel on January 6, 1922 in rural Juneau, Wisconsin. He attended Juneau High School and Milwaukee Vocational School. Bill had been employed as an office manager for Baker Canning Company.
Bill was a member of the Dodge County Lodge # 72 Free and Accepted Masons. He was a past councilman for the City of Beaver Dam. He had been a former member of Trinity Church United Methodist and was a current member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
In his early years, Bill enjoyed flying his own plane and traveling.
Bill is survived by his sister Mildred Bunkoske of Horicon and his brother-in-law Clarence Stange of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents and sisters and brothers: Dorothy Kienow, Edwin Keel, Elaine Schmid, Lois Petry, Ruth Yuenger, Mary Stange and two infant sisters.
