William Paul Budahn, age 48, of Theresa passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his home.A funeral service will take place for William on Wednesday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Tn. Theresa (River Church) with the Rev. Douglas Zahner officiating. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 5, from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and again on Wednesday, June 6 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Tn. Theresa.William was born the son of Leonhard and Karen (Reabe) Budahn on June 19, 1969 in Waupun. He was a 1987 graduate of Mayville High School. William owned and operated Budahn Homestead, LLC. and took great pride in it. He was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. He was the current state president for Wings Over Wisconsin and also a Road Captain for Open Road Harley Davidson in Fond du Lac. William loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, watching airplanes and the EAA, Sunday Funday’s, and most importantly riding his Harley Davidson with his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his kind smile and big heart.He is survived by his mother- Karen (Stepdad Jim) Kell of Lomira. His children- Kimberly (finance’ Eric Geschke) Budahn of LeRoy, Ashley (special friend Jeremy) Budahn of Mayville, Brandon (special friend Stephanie) Budahn of Sussex, and Jacob (special friend Nicole) Budahn of Theresa. His 2 grandchildren- Arianna and Dreyson Schroeder. His siblings- Tammy (John) Haeni of Brownsville and Terry (Rick) Geiger of Mayville. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father Leonhard.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.Special thanks to the first responders and EMS for their care and support.
