Visitation: Will be held on Sunday, October 18th from 4 till 7pm from the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, WI and also on Monday from 10am till 11am at the church.
Wilmer P. Pribnow, 85, of Horicon, died on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Wilmer was born on Sept. 21, 1924, in the town of Theresa, the son of Max and Amanda (Hahn) Pribnow. He was married to Ardis H. Budahn on June 9, 1951, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church), town of Theresa. Wilmer retired from John Deere Horicon Works in 1984. He was an active member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church, Horicon, and a member of the Spitfires retirees group. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and his cabin up north.
Survivors include his wife, Ardis; children, Gary (Mary) Pribnow, Oconomowoc, Carolyn (Elroy) Thurn, Horicon, Louise (Mike) Kuehl, Iron Ridge, Doreen Mueller, Iron Ridge, Linda (David) Sugden, Horicon, and Wayne (RaeMarie) Pribnow, Burnett; sisters-in-law, Arline (Harland) Justman, West Bend, and Diane (Perry) Billings, Theresa; brother-in-law, Leonhard (Karen) Budahn, Lomira; grandchildren, Angie (Ken) Dibble, Tiffany (Brent) Kopiness, Rebecca Pribnow, Tracy Thrun, Carrie (Mark) Brooks, Timothy Thrun, Amanda (special friend Brayn) Kuehl, Kevin (special friend Stacey) Kuehl, Angela Kuehl, Michael Kuehl, Michael Mueller, Jason (special friend Rachel) Mueller, Cory Mueller, Jennifer (Greg) Kuhn, Nicole Sugden, Andrew Sugden, Erin Sugden and Katie Pribnow; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Brooks and and CJ Brooks, Abigail Kuhn, and Brayden Kopiness; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kathleen Pribnow, son-in-law Michael Mueller and sister Evelyn.
Friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and also on Monday, Oct. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church, Horicon. The Rev. Jonathan Szczesny will officiate. Burial will be in St. Petri Cemetery, town of Theresa.
